Northern areas will fare better, with Scotland, Northern Ireland and parts of northern England largely experiencing low pollen levels over the coming days. But further south, levels are forecast to be higher as grass pollen starts to be released. The Midlands, eastern England, and southern regions are expected to experience high pollen counts, with levels remaining high over the weekend before easing into next week.
