Sanliurfa Governor Hasan Şıldak said the teenager took his own life following the incident. "We have 16 injured. The attacker is a former student of our school, born in 2007," he said. "The attacker committed suicide. We evacuated the school. The incident is being investigated from all angles."Turkey's Interior Ministry also released a statement saying it had identified the attacker. The ministry said that, according to initial findings, 10 pupils, four teachers, one police officer and one canteen worker were injured in the attack and taken to Siverek State Hospital for treatment.Article continues belowIt added that the teenager carried out the attack with a pump-action shotgun and later took his own life using the same weapon.
