Horror as body is found in driveway in quiet Sydney suburb as police launch urgent probe

Emergency services were called to Wargon Crescent in Glenmore Park shortly before 1am on Thursday following reports of a fire. Police attended the scene and located the body of a man outside a partially alight property. He is yet to be formally identified. Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze, which started in front of a blue Commodore in the driveway and spread to part of the house. A crime scene was established as detectives launched an investigation into the blaze. It's understood that police are treating it as a targeted attack, Sunrise reported. Police and forensic officers remain at the scene on Thursday morning. Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
