Before sales opened at noon on Wednesday, some customers started queuing up from as early as 10.30am at Star Cinema in Tseung Kwan O to get discounted tickets for screenings this Saturday. Housewife Mrs Ho was the first in line and hoped to get discounted tickets for the first time. She described the offer as attractive, adding that audiences were drawn to “high-quality films”. A cinema ticket normally costs HK$100. They said their children wanted to watch the animated adventure comedy, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
