By CAITLIN POWELL - NEWS REPORTER Published: 05:21, 18 April 2026 | Updated: 05:29, 18 April 2026 A man has been caught defecating on his neighbour's lawn and walking off without cleaning up his mess. The incident took place in a quiet neighbourhood in Berwick Springs, a suburb in south-east Melbourne. In CCTV footage, shared by 7News, a man wearing a cap, beige jacket and blue jeans can be seen walking past the front of a home. He is seen pausing behind a car to drop his trousers, while his friend waited nearby. The man then continued on his way, leaving his mess behind. 'I can't believe a human person has decided to stop at someone's front lawn and do a dookie,' neighbour Juliene Pudsey said. Aussies were quick to respond to the footage. 'When you gotta go, you gotta go,' one person quipped online, with another agreeing: 'Must have been so desperate'. The Daily Mail has contacted Victoria Police for comment.
