Hezbollah fires rockets toward Upper Galilee, Israel strikes Lebanon

ALBAWABA - Israeli Channel 12 reported Sunday that Lebanon's Hezbollah group fired five missiles fired at the Upper Galilee, which the Israeli army intercepted.

On the other hand, Israel's military also issued new evacuation warnings in southern Lebanon for villages beyond the area it occupies, despite the ceasefire agreed with Lebanon intended to stop fighting with the Iran-backed group.

In another development, Al Jazeera's correspondent said that an Israeli raid targeted the town of Srifa on Sunday, and that the Israeli occupation army's artillery shelled the towns of Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Mayfadoun and Srifa in southern Lebanon.

"For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move away from the villages and towns by at least 1,000 metres into open areas," the military's Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee said.

The post on X also reads, "In light of the terrorist Hezbollah party's violation of the ceasefire agreement, the Defense Army is compelled to act against it forcefully. The Israeli Defense Forces do not intend to harm you."

On April 17, a fragile ceasefire was agreed between Israel and Lebanon, which was aimed at pausing the attacks.
