Hero MotoCorp buyer gets Rs 88,000 refund over recurring engine issue

A Bengaluru consumer court ordered Hero MotoCorp and its dealers to refund Rs 88,000 for a motorcycle with a recurring engine defect. Despite over 10 service visits and numerous part replacements, the bike's engine repeatedly shut off while riding. The court found a manufacturing defect, citing the company's own admission of the issue during test rides.
