Dh1,000 and six traffic points: For those who gather near valleys, flood channels and dams during rainfall face a fine of
Dh2,000, 23 traffic points and vehicle impoundment for 60 days: For those who enter wadis while water is flowing, regardless of the level of risk.

Ajman Police deploy 24/7 patrols
Ajman Police have reassured residents of their full readiness to deal with the ongoing unstable weather conditions affecting the UAE, stressing that all resources have been mobilised to safeguard the public and maintain road safety.
Brigadier Khalid Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, said field teams, including traffic and security patrols, are operating round the clock under integrated emergency plans to respond swiftly to any weather-related incidents.
He added that the force is equipped to handle reports and emergencies arising from sudden weather changes, ensuring rapid response and minimising risks to road users.

Sharjah, Ajman bus services suspended: RTA
Dubai's RTA has said that it is suspending bus services to Sharjah and Ajman temporarily starting today at 7pm due to weather conditions and water accumulation on roads.
"Our teams are currently working in coordination with the relevant authorities to resume services as soon as possible," it added.

Rain forecast for tomorrow
The National Center of Meteorology expects tomorrow’s weather to be partly cloudy to cloudy with some cumulus clouds, with heavy rain falling over most areas of the country at intervals, and a drop in temperatures.
The center stated in its daily weather report that the winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly at 15 to 30 km/h, reaching up to 60 km/h. The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf, especially with clouds. The second high tide will occur at 08:05 and the first low tide at 15:02. In the Sea of Oman, the sea will be rough, especially with clouds. The first high tide will occur at 18:26 and the second high tide at 05:10. The first low tide will occur at 10:55 and the second low tide at 23:56.

As we deal with unstable weather, Dubai Land Department offered some tips on staying safe. It said on social media:
Close all doors and windows securely
Clear the internal rainwater drains
Remove loose tools and equipment from balconies

Keep children and pets indoors
Avoid walking near trees and utility poles

The highest temperature recorded across the UAE today was 35.6°C in Al Jazeera B.G. (Al Dhafra region) at 4.15pm UAE local time.

Sharjah Police urge public to remain indoors
Sharjah Police have urged the public to remain indoors and avoid unnecessary travel amid the current adverse weather conditions affecting parts of the emirate.
Speaking on the “Direct Line” programme on Sharjah Radio and TV, Brigadier Dr Jassim Mohammed bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, official spokesperson for Sharjah Police, advised residents to prioritise their safety as unstable weather continues.
“We advise people to avoid going out and to stay at home until weather conditions improve,” he said.
The advisory comes as heavy rainfall and strong winds continue to impact visibility and road conditions across parts of the UAE.
Sharjah Police announce temporary closure of road
Sharjah Police announce the temporary closure of Al Ezwah Street (Suhaila) in Al Dhaid city.
The closure affects traffic coming from Ras Al Khaimah towards Al Manama, and from Al Dhaid towards Masafi. This is due to rainfall and flowing water in the Suhaila area.
Drivers are advised to be careful, use alternative routes during the closure, and stay away from valleys and dams where water is flowing, for their safety.

Sharjah Charity prepares shelters, aid and medical teams
Sharjah Charity International has intensified its emergency preparedness as its Crisis and Disaster Team continues to hold daily meetings to monitor field conditions during the rainy time.
Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi, Head of the Crisis and Disaster Team, said the daily meetings focus on real-time assessments of developments on the ground, with preparedness levels raised to address any sudden changes in conditions.

He added that prior coordination has been made with several kitchens to provide meals when required. At the same time, logistics teams have been instructed to prepare blankets and essential supplies to be deployed quickly in emergency situations.
The team is also working closely with relevant authorities to coordinate with shelter centres, in case evacuations become necessary or temporary accommodation is required for families.
On the healthcare front, the association is monitoring the readiness of medical teams at its charitable medical centre in Khorfakkan to handle emergency cases resulting from weather conditions.

Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) has confirmed that it is actively managing the effects of the current low-pressure system through a comprehensive operational plan, ensuring efficient field performance and rapid response for the public.

Dubai Police Raise Traffic Awareness Among Delivery Riders and Taxi Drivers During Unstable Weather

Dubai Police has urged delivery riders to halt travel and delivery services during unstable weather and rainfall to ensure their safety and the safety of other road users.
Campaign highlighted the dangers of unsafe practices during adverse weather — such as riding into flooded areas, stopping on road shoulders, or parking in tunnels and under bridges — all of which pose a serious risk to both riders and other road users.
As part of its ongoing road safety efforts, Dubai Police's General Department of Traffic also carried out awareness sessions for taxi drivers to promote safe driving practices, especially during unstable weather.

The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a across several parts of the country, warning of unstable weather conditions.
The alert, in effect from 10:45am to 2:45pm, highlights the likelihood of cloud formation associated with rainfall, strong winds and possible thunderstorms, particularly across eastern and southern regions.
According to the latest update, parts of Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah fall under yellow to orange alert levels, indicating a moderate to heightened risk of rainfall and gusty winds. Meanwhile, southern and western areas of Abu Dhabi, including Liwa, are under orange alert, signalling a higher, more intense weather activity.
