A court heard how the 28-year-old had tried to leave her husband in May that year, with a text message revealing he had choked her.‌The message, shared by the the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS), read: "You barreted (battered) me last night and choked me for till I was nearly unconscious. You really don't care do you.
