'He doesn't let anyone in - I call Gary Neville 'The Oracle' as his opinion has to be the truth'

Former Premier League midfielder Don Hutchison has pulled no punches with his assessment of Gary Neville's 'opinionated' approach as a pundit, claiming he "doesn't leave anything for anyone else to debate". Neville has been working for Sky Sports for the last 15 years after retiring from professional football in 2011. The 51-year-old spent more than two decades as a player at Manchester United before hanging up his boots after the Reds secured a 19th top-flight title and a 13th in the Premier League under Sir Alex Ferguson . His first game as a pundit for Sky was on Monday Night Football as Manchester City thrashed Swansea City 4-0 in August 2011. Neville interviewed then City manager Roberto Mancini post-match, with the ex-United and England right-back heard saying: "I bet you never thought you'd be interviewed by me." Neville has since cemented himself as one of the leading pundits in England since, appearing on Sky and ITV , as well as creating his own YouTube channel The Overlap which has gained more than 1.6million subscribers. But in that time, Neville has often been accused for a 'biased' approach when working on United matches. Now, ex-Everton and Sunderland man Hutchison has delivered his verdict on Neville and his analysis, saying he has a "strong opinion" and branded him as 'The Oracle' as he "doesn't let anyone else in on the debate". Speaking to BestBettingSites , Hutchison said: "The thing with Gary Neville is he's got an opinion, and he's got a strong opinion, but he doesn't let anyone else in on the opinion. He doesn't let anyone else in on the debate." He added: "The Oracle thinks when he says something, it's got to be - that's it. That's the truth there. He doesn't leave anything for anyone else to debate footy." Neville is set make his latest appearance on Sky for West Ham's crunch Premier League game against Arsenal on Sunday. He is set to be alongside commentator Peter Drury as the co-commentator. He has been Sky's lead co-commentator the last couple of years, often being the main pundit for the most high-profile Premier League matches.
