Harper Beckham sends clear message with World Cup semi-final outfit choice ahead of England clash

Harper Beckham made her football allegiance crystal clear on Tuesday evening as she stepped out supporting Spain during the World Cup semi-final against France in Dallas.

The 15-year-old daughter of Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham sent a clear message against the French as she was spotted in the stands wearing a Spain jacket as she watched the nation's 2-0 victory to reach the tournament final.

Harper was joined by brothers Cruz, 21, and Romeo Beckham for the family outing, while Cruz's girlfriend, Brazilian-German singer-songwriter Jackie Apostel, also attended the blockbuster clash.

Her outfit appeared to pay tribute to the Beckham family's long-standing connection to Spain, where they lived during Sir David's spell at Real Madrid between 2003 and 2007.

Cruz has an especially close bond with the country, having been born in Madrid in 2005 while his father was playing for the Spanish giants during their famous Galácticos era.

As a result, the musician holds both British and Spanish passports, while his first name itself translates to 'cross' in Spanish.

Harper, meanwhile, was born in Los Angeles and has forged a close friendship with Ms Apostel since she began dating Cruz in June 2024.

While the teenager proudly wore Spain's colours, Sir David and Romeo opted for neutral outfits as they watched from the stands.

The semi-final also attracted several famous faces beyond the Beckham family.

Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet, whose father is French, was spotted sporting Les Bleus colours as he cheered on Didier Deschamps' side.

Spain took the lead in the 22nd minute when Mikel Oyarzabal calmly converted from the penalty spot after Lucas Digne fouled teenage sensation Lamine Yamal inside the box.
