The subpoenas, filed in the Southern District of New York on August 20, target Microsoft and Discord and request extensive account and device information. Take-Two is seeking details including names, IP addresses, phone numbers, device identifiers, linked Google and Xbox accounts, and OneDrive data. The requests cover accounts that communicated in three named Discord servers between June 1, 2026, and the present. Take-Two has also set a September 4 deadline for the requested information. One of the subpoenas specifically requests Microsoft’s MachineGuid identifier, a Windows-generated value that can remain stable across hardware changes unless the operating system drive is replaced. The filing also seeks certain device telemetry associated with specified tools or file artifacts, although the exhibit does not appear to include a list identifying those artifacts. The Discord subpoena names the Ødyssey.gg, “! Odyssey,” and DarkViperAU servers. The filing describes Ødyssey.gg as a cheat community and refers to it as the alleged operator’s “home.” Take-Two’s filings also include a copyright takedown notice sent to GitHub on August 19 concerning the repository zyrexdz/cyberleek-leak-research.
