GOP firebrand Lauren Boebert explodes after being confronted with rumors of her alleged fling with Trump nemesis Thomas Massie

Published: 17:23, 7 June 2026 | Updated: 17:23, 7 June 2026 Right-wing firebrand Lauren Boebert quickly shot harsh words back at a reporter who confronted her with the rumors of her alleged sexual relationship with Trump's least favorite Republican lawmaker.   Boebert, 39, cut a Fox News Digital reporter off before asking a question about an alleged fling with 55-year-old Rep. Thomas Massie, in a video published on Sunday. 'One of his exes is making headlines, saying that you guys—' The reporter said, before he was shut down. 'F*** you, first of all!' said the representative for Colorado. 'If you're gonna bring me into this, like, the sexist stuff is like out of control.' 'So there's your clickbait that you were looking for. I don't want to talk about anybody's exes and the crazy s**t that they do.' The exchange comes after Cynthia West, who allegedly dated the Kentucky Republican Congressman, claimed in an interview with conservative provocateur Laura Loomer that Massie bragged about hooking up Boebert. Massie has not issued a response to the allegations, and the Daily Mail has reached out to him for comment.   West alleged that he boasted about the encounter just weeks after the death of his first wife, Rhonda. During the exchange, Boebert was also asked about President Trump's agenda to rid the GOP of Republican incumbents, which was damaging the GOP's agenda . Thomas Massie, 55, bragged about hooking up Boebert 'I think most of the folks that have lost their primaries were backfiring on the GOP agenda — Cassidy, Cornyn, Boebert,' Boebert replied. 'I mean, obviously Thomas Massie is the only one that I'm a little sad about,' she said. Massie was ousted by President Donald Trump's hand-picked challenger, Ed Gallrein, in the GOP primary in May after the incumbent relentlessly pushed for the release of files surrounding the deceased pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. Massie led the charge on releasing the files and was supported by Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and several others. Greene resigned this past December after Trump promised to back her primary challenger. She and Massie have pressed the Department of Justice to release the Epstein files and have opposed Trump's war in Iran. Boebert was also asked by the reporter about Massie's future on Capitol Hill: 'He filed for something.' 'He didn't specify what, and I don't know if he's going to move forward with that or not. I don't know. 'Hopefully he leaves here and makes some money,' she added. She was then asked about the alleged relationship, which appeared to set her off. Boebert snapped at the reporter: 'F*** you, first of all! If you're gonna bring me into this, like, the sexist stuff is like out of control' Rep. Boebert has been supporting Thomas Massie for several months. She is seen campaigning alongside him in April Boebert made note that the reporter asked a great question before seemingly ruining the interview with her. She stormed off as he tried to make clear that he wasn't specifically going to 'ask about that, just generally.' The firebrand burst onto the political scene in 2020 as a pro-gun, anti-abortion Christian who demanded swift and severe punishments for criminals. However, despite her popularity within MAGA circles, Boebert's career has been marked by a string of scandals and, more recently, criticism from President Trump. Arguably, the most infamous incident involving Boebert occurred when she was removed from a theater in Denver after becoming amorous with her date. Boebert was filmed lashing out at theater staff after being booted from a Beetlejuice performance for singing along, with staff claiming she also vaped and took photos during the performance. In late May, the president went on a Truth Social tirade where he mocked the congresswoman as 'Weak-Minded Lauren Boebert' while accusing her of betraying the MAGA movement by campaigning alongside Massie. Boebert replied to the president's attack on X, stating that she was 'not mad or offended.' 'I knew the risks when I agreed to stand by my friend Thomas Massie,' she added.
