Agent Jorge Mendes was visiting the Milan headquarters today, amid reports he’s working with them on Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio, who will cost over €40m.
The transfer market mover and shaker was also behind the arrival of RC Strasbourg winner Diego Moreira, who underwent his medical tests yesterday and is set to sign the contract today.
Mendes was spotted going into the Casa Milan building this afternoon, having landed earlier today, and is not just there for Moreira.

Mendes working with Milan on Inacio

According to various reports, his next issue is to bring Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio to the Rossoneri, especially after Fikayo Tomori was frozen out by coach Ruben Amorim.
According to Calciomercato, Goal and more, the cost of this operation is bound to be at least €40m, especially considering the player has a release clause worth €60m in his contract that runs to June 2030.
Inacio has 22 senior caps for Portugal and turns 25 next week, coming up through the Sporting youth system.
A cheaper alternative for the role at Milan is also Portuguese, specifically Tiago Gabriel of Lecce.

Another matter Jorge Mendes is discussing with the Rossoneri directors is surely the future of Rafael Leao, who is eager to find a new club this summer.
Galatasaray seem to remain the most likely, but there were suggestions he had been offered to fellow Serie A side Roma too.
