The child was killed when the car she was travelling collided with the other vehicles on Dynon Road in inner-city Melbourne at about 4.30pm on Wednesday. The male driver and another child travelling with her were taken to hospital in a critical condition. A woman and child also in that vehicle on the major road suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were also taken to hospital. A second driver, a man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while a woman driving another car was treated at the scene for minor injuries. A man driving a fourth vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as well. Police are calling for witnesses or anyone with information, including dashcam footage, to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers via 1800 333 000 or www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
