In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we remember that Jesus is willing to save us if he's asked, and his presence brings about a perfect peace and come.
"How do you survive the storms of life? There's an edge of your seat scene involving Jesus and his disciples.
"Jesus's followers get caught in a storm on their boat, and we're getting tossed around by the wind and the waves. They looked up and saw Jesus walking towards them on the water. Been inspired by this.
"One of his followers, Peter, asked if he could come to Jesus. Get in the green light. Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on water towards Jesus. But but as soon as he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the storm, he started to sink.
"As a storm began to engulf him and he began to drown. To drown? Peter cried out, Lord, save me! Jesus reached out his hand, lifted him up, and they safely got into the boat. Immediately the storm calmed.
"The lesson here is that Jesus is bigger and more powerful than any storm that could come into our lives. He is the Lord over the storm, and as soon as we take our eyes off Jesus and focus on the storm, it will sink us and overwhelm us as we struggle to cope."
