GB News Daily Reflection - Saturday June 20th 2026
المصدر: GB News | Source: GB NewsIn today's GB News Daily Reflection, we remeber Jesus Christ’s teaching to his disciples that they need not worry about finding the right words.
He encouraged believers to trust that God’s Spirit will guide them in speaking truthfully and kindly when the moment requires it.
“Not knowing what to say or worse, stopping mid-sentence because you can't remember what you were going to say. This can happen to all of us, and it's really annoying, isn't it?
“I find it's difficult when I'm speaking to you sometimes to remember. What am I saying? What am I thinking? “In the Bible, we find a good example here of Jesus giving advice to his disciples, and he says this: ‘Don't worry about how you're to speak or what you're to say, for what you will say will be given to you at just the right time. For it is not you that speak, but it's the spirit of your father speaking through you.’
“I take great comfort from this, this idea that I don't need to worry about every word I say. “If I try to say truthful things or kind things, I need to worry less about what I'm saying.
“I take comfort from the fact that God might speak through me, and I hope he does. And I hope that it's a blessing.”
