GB News Daily Reflection — Monday 11th May 2026
المصدر: GB News | Source: GB NewsIn today's GB News Daily Reflection, we remember that The Bible story continues to tell us that Jesus knew he was going to return into heaven and ascend there, and then he would continue to work in the lives of his disciples.
"In John chapter 14, Jesus says, I will ask the father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. The spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him.
"But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you.
"The surprising thing Jesus is preparing his followers for here is his physical absence is what makes his spiritual presence possible. He will go physically into heaven, but he will send His Holy Spirit to be with them on earth.
"It's a surprise because before he's in one place at one time with 11 in 1 room, but afterwards he'll be able to be with all his people in all places, for all time. And what a comfort that has continued to be for followers of Jesus scattered throughout the world, to know that he doesn't leave his people as orphans.
"He promises to come to us by His Holy Spirit and help us and be with us. I have found that to be a great comfort in my own life, but also for the other people I meet. He offers this to anyone who would come."
