toplantısında açıklamalarda bulundu. Toplantının başında Kahramanmaraş'ta yaşanan okul saldırısından dolayı çok üzgün olduğunu belirten Özbek, "Kahramanmaraş, benim sıklıkla ziyaret ettiğim bir şehirdir. Orayla gönül bağım var. Hayatını kaybeden değerli öğretmenimize ve evlatlarımıza Allah'tan rahmet diliyorum. Ailelerine başsağlığı diliyorum. Yaralılarımıza da acil şifalar diliyorum. Tedavi gören kardeşlerimizin durumunu yakından takip ediyoruz. Ayrıca kulübümüzün eski teknik direktörlerinden Mircea Lucescu'nun vefatı sebebiyle derin üzüntü içindeyim. Defin esnasında ailesinin yanındaydık. Kendisini saygı ve minnetle anıyoruz." ifadelerini kullandı. Özbek, Avrupa'da kadın voleybol ve erkek sutopunda kazandıkları kupalar sebebiyle camianın çok sevinçli olduğunu aktararak, "Normalde bazı divan kurulu toplantılarını kapalı yapardık. Bugün 'kupalı' yapıyoruz. İki kupalı toplantıda buradayız. CEV Kupası şampiyonu kadın voleybol takımımız buradaydı. Avrupa Challenger Kupası'nı kazanan erkek sutopu takımımızın da bir kısmı buradaydı. Maçları olduğu için hepsi gelemedi. Onları yürekten kutluyorum. Her zaman yanımızda olan taraftarımızın CEV Kupası'ndaki desteği çok iyiydi. O gün üç önemli maçımız vardı. Galibiyetlerimizde büyük rol oynadılar. Onlara da teşekkür ediyorum. Kadın basketbol takımımız da FIBA Avrupa Ligi finaline yükseldi. Bu kupayı bir kez kazandık. İkinci kez kazanacağımıza inanıyorum. Erkek basketbolda NBA Avrupa projesine dair görüşmelerimiz devam ediyor. Bununla ilgili de yakında güzel haberler vereceğim." şeklinde konuştu. Dursun Özbek, sezon başında amatör branşlar için kendilerine önemli hedefler belirlediklerini aktararak, "Amatör branşlar için belirlediğimiz hedeflere ulaştığımız için mutluyum. Artık kupa sezonunu açtık. Bu kupaların bize uğur getireceğine ve yeni kupalar kazanacağımıza inanıyorum. Futbol takımımız, Süper Lig'de 26. şampiyonluğa gidiyor. Takımıma inancım ilk günkü gibi aynı. Galatasaray, tüm camiasıyla onların arkasındadır. Camia, şampiyonluk yürüyüşünde sonsuz desteğini vermeye devam edecektir." dedi. Naklen yayın gelirlerinin düşük olduğunu vurgulayan Özbek, "Önümüzdeki dönemde naklen yayın gelirlerinin yükselmesi gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Şu anda naklen yayın gelirleri düşük seviyede. Kulübün dünyada yeni pazarlara da açılarak, gelirlerini artırmasını istiyoruz. Bunlar için çalışmaya devam edeceğiz." diye konuştu. Aslantepe Vadisi projesine değinen Özbek, şunları söyledi: "Stadımızın hemen yanında 62 dönüm olan bir arsayı Galatasaray Kulübüne kazandırdık. Orayı spor kompleksi yapmak istiyoruz. Diğer şubelerimize hizmet edecek alanlar yok. Bu arsayı Galatasaray Kulübüne kazandırmak yeterli değil. Şimdi amaç, bunu tesis haline getirmek. Bu tesiste basketbol salonu, voleybol salonu, kapalı yüzme havuzu, salon sporlarına hizmet edecek yerler ve bazı ticari alanlar olacak. Ayrıca idari bina da yapacağız. Şu anda kulüp, idari olarak dağılmış vaziyette. Bu dağınıklığı engellemek için idari bina yapıyoruz. Bu projenin toplamı yaklaşık 150 bin metrekare. Bütçesi de yaklaşık 200 milyon dolar civarında. Temeli atıyoruz. 23 Nisan'da bir temel atma törenimiz olacak. 23 Nisan bizim için çok önemli. Cumhuriyetimizin kurucusu Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün dünya çocuklarına armağan ettiği Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı'nı bu şekilde kutlamak istiyoruz." Gündemlerinde sadece kupa kazanmak olduğunu belirten Özbek, "Ben ve arkadaşlarım, yol kazaları ve zor zamanları yaşadık. Hepsinden de en güçlü şekilde çıkmayı başardık. Galatasaray'ın DNA'sında kazanmak var. Bu kulübün tarihinde hiçbir zaman vazgeçmemek ve çaba göstermek var. Herkesin yan yana gelmesinin tam zamanı.
