LGBT Health and Wellbeing holds weekly sessions in Edinburgh so transgender women - or biological men - can give human milk to their babies.
The organisation has pocketed hundreds of thousands of pounds from the SNP-run Scottish Government, as well as the NHS and Scottish councils.
The charity has insisted its "Queer Milk" initiative provides a space for people “breastfeeding, chestfeeding or giving human milk to their baby in any amount... no matter what your feeding journey looks like”.
TRENDINGStoriesVideosYour SayThe session is open to biological men that identify as women - who are incapable of lactating naturally.
Supporters of such initiatives claim "chestfeeding" is safe and can mirror the benefits of natural breastfeeding done by women - however, little concrete evidence of this has come to light.
Speaking to GB News, Dr Alice Hodkinson, co-founder of the Biology in Medicine blog on the Women's Rights Network, hit out at the "mind-boggling" practice.
She told Britain's News Channel: "We want to support women to breastfeed their babies, and that's really important. All women if they're able to. But the idea that men can do it, it's quite bizarre."
Dr Hodkinson added: "Men can produce a little bit of chest secretions or nipple secretions. I think the most that's ever been recorded is about 30 millilitres, so a thimble full... Women can produce pints of milk, and that's what the baby is going to need, depending on the age of the baby."
She also questioned the intention behind why "a man is wanting a baby to attach to suckle his on his nipple".
"This is not for the baby. This does not benefit the baby. And we have to be very clear about this, that there's something else going on that a man should want to do this."
Gender-critical group For Women Scotland has said British taxpayers would be "sickened" to know their cash was being splashed on such a “creepy and highly disturbing practice”.
Scottish Trans - another group handed public money by the SNP - has insisted that biological men are capable of breastfeeding.
Following the landmark Supreme Court ruling last year, the group warned that trans women who breastfeed are at risk of losing their pregnancy and maternity rights.

LGBT Health and Wellbeing's Queer Milk group is run hand-in-hand with the Queer Milk Collective, which offers support for biological men's "feeding journey".
For Women Scotland director Susan Smith slammed the Queer Milk group for “actively and openly encouraging the sinister idea that men can breastfeed, using public money, will rightly sicken taxpayers”.
She said: “To state the obvious, biological men cannot breastfeed babies.
"Whatever hormone-induced gloop their bodies might be chemically engineered to produce, it is not human milk.
“It is high time that the SNP Government, NHS and Scottish councils stopped lavishing these activist groups with millions of pounds to promote such perverse ideas.
“Defenceless and innocent babies are not props to be used to affirm delusional men, and the fact that public money is being used to promote the notion that they are is nauseating.”
LGBT Health and Wellbeing - which had a reported income of £1.15million in 2024/25 - was handed £262,000 by the SNP Government and a further £252,000 by NHS Lothian.
It also received £230,000 from the Glasgow Health and Social and Social Care Partnership and Edinburgh Integration Joint Board.
The majority of the cash was spent of paying salaries and pensions to its 27 members of staff.
A spokesman for Scottish Government said: “Funding provided to organisations through the Equality and Human Rights Fund is for specific, agreed activities.
“We do not provide funding for lactation services through this fund."
