The former Chelsea star has masterminded a stunning push to a place in the Premier League next season with a brilliant campaign.‌The Midlands side already have 86 points to their name this season, with three games remaining to secure the title. But even without silverware, Lampard has already claimed a personal accolade of his own.‌Lampard, 47, was named as the Championship manager of the season at the EFL awards on Sunday evening. He was not the only one to be recognised at the EFL awards, with a number of Coventry stars having been named in the Championship team of the season. Carl Rushworth was named in goal, with Milan van Ewijk, Matt Grimes and Haji Wright all joining him in the side.‌Coventry will be aiming to take a significant step towards the Championship title in midweek as they welcome Portsmouth to the CBS Arena. They then take on Wrexham and Watford in their final two games of the campaign.Speaking after Coventry’s promotion was confirmed, he said: "It's amazing.
