St John's Church School said it had decided to close due to "a serious incident" near its building. A 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, both from Peterborough, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Two girls aged 16 and 17 have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All of the teenagers remain in police custody. In an email seen by the BBC, St John's Church School in Peterborough said "police are currently processing a site in close proximity to the school", which had led to the decision to shut.An image showed a large police presence near the Ortongate Shopping Centre on Sunday night, and an area remained cordoned off near the entrance on Riseholme on Monday morning.A sizeable police cordon remains around the shopping centre and will be in place alongside an increased police presence in the next few days. Some flowers have been left next to the cordon.The school said it would "continue to monitor the situation" and update parents and carers about reopening.
