'Four people are stabbed by knifeman shouting 'Allahu Akbar' at Swiss train station'

The motive of the attack at the Winterthur train station on Thursday remains unclear, but the knifeman who unleashed his rampage was heard shouting 'Allahu Akbar,' according to local media.  Eyewitnesses said the incident unfolded just before 8.30 am.  One passerby told news outlet Blick: 'I heard a man behind me shout 'Allahu Akbar' five or six times in a very emotional and agitated manner.' A group of school children are understood to have been passing through the station when the knife attack began, with their teacher seen standing in front of her students, 20 Minuten reported.  Emergency services rushed to the scene, where a police cordon currently remains in place.   This is a breaking news story, more to follow.
