Florida grandma furious after state issues her with hilariously raunchy new license plate

Nancy Dello Stritto, a 76-year-old Pompano Beach resident, was expecting the usual registration paperwork when she went to collect her mail on July 15.  Instead she found herself holding a new license plate reading: 'SQZ A55.' The suggestive combination of letters and numbers immediately raised eyebrows, with many commenting on the resemblance to a crude phrase. 'I don’t think a senior who is almost 77 will be driving around with a plate that has that to say,' Dello Stritto said, admitting she was shocked by the surprise delivery. 'I went ballistic. I said, "How could that pass inspection?"' she said, questioning how the plate could have even made it through the state's review process. But while Nancy was ready to send the plate straight back, her family and friends saw the funny side and urged her to keep it. According to Nancy, the tally among her family and friends is 16 to one in favor of keeping the saucy plate. It remains unclear how the plate was issued.  Florida license plates have been manufactured at a state prison in North Florida for nearly a century before being distributed through county agencies.   Dello Stritto's plate was mailed from the Broward County Property Tax Collector's office. However, officials have said plates considered offensive can be replaced, and Broward County confirmed Dello Stritto's plate could be swapped free of charge if deemed inappropriate. After all the attention Dello Stritto appears to have made peace with her unusual new accessory. 'I’m resigned to it; maybe it was destined for it to be on my car,' she said to the outlet, joking that she might even enjoy the attention. 'Maybe I'll even get some honks,' she said with a laugh.  However, Dello-Stritto plans to inform the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles about it. The retired Floridian has decided to keep the plate for the time being as family and friends managed to convince her of it's comedic value  So for now, one Florida driver is cruising the streets with a license plate that has turned a routine renewal into the most talked-about delivery in her neighborhood.
