On February 3, Happe pleaded guilty to acquiring and possessing criminal property.Millington carried out the crimes when she worked as a finance manager at The Waterfield Practice in Bracknell between February 2021 and November 2024. She fraudulently diverted £456,666 from the GP practice.Thames Valley Police opened their investigation after the practice reported concerns about suspect payments that appeared to have been made to external medical suppliers.‌Cops found that the legitimate banking details of several companies had been deliberately altered, causing payments to be redirected to personal accounts controlled by Millington. Investigators found that several bank accounts used belonged to Millington, with a further account belonging to Happe.
