Torres, now 42, enjoyed a stunning stint at Anfield as a player, scoring 81 goals in 142 appearances before a £50m move to Chelsea.‌The former Spanish international went on to play for AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Japanese side Sagan Tosu before retiring in 2019. Torres has since moved into management, having been appointed as manager of both Atletico Madrid’s under-19 and B team.‌And the ex-striker has now been backed to take the reins at Anfield one day by former Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente.‌Speaking to Hajper, he said: “Fernando Torres as Liverpool manager one day? Definitely.
