Taking to Facebook today, show regular Melanie Wood announced Marcus McGuire has passed away.‌She said: “We unfortunately have sad news to share. Recently we lost one of our own. Marcus, a valued member of the Aussie Gold Hunters family, has sadly passed away.‌“Marcus will be remembered for his passion, hard work, and the mark he left on everyone who watched and worked alongside him. Marcus was also a talented musician who played at various venues around WA.‌“Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. The cause of death is not known but Marcus has been suffering from bad health, and, a talented musician, had to cancel a number of gigs.‌Marcus and Linden, from Wongutha, grew up in the Goldfields and spent many years prospecting in the bush together before developing their passion for gold into a profession.Fans were left stunned at the sad news.
