Family of missing Rachel Kerr issue major update after Brit travel influencer went missing in Morocco

A British travel influencer reported missing in Morocco has been found, her family has confirmed. Relatives of Rachel Kerr, 31, had earlier appealed for anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward, with her cousin saying they were "extremely concerned" for her welfare. Avid traveller Rachel, from Dunblane, Scotland , was last known to be staying at the Caribbean Village Agador resort . The entrepreneur and model, who is known for her travel content on social media, had her phone switched off since checking out on Saturday. Concerned family members confirmed she was missing, with her cousin Claire Hill pleading for anyone with information to come forward. Claire shared a heartbreaking post on Facebook which read: "My cousin Rachel Kerr (31) is missing in Adagir, Morocco. Last known to be staying at the Caribbean Village hotel however she checked on Saturday and we haven’t heard from her since. Her phone has been switched off. "We’re very concerned for her welfare and appealing for any information on her whereabouts or who she may be in contact with out there." The Foreign Office had said it was supporting the family of a British woman who was missing in Morocco. But Claire has now issued an update on the case. Adding to her initial post pleading for information Claire wrote: "Rachel has now been traced and is safe in the care of family. Thank you to those who provided information and support." While her family say she has been found safe she has yet to post on social media with her last post on Instagram dated April 13. Rachel has more than 9,000 Instagram and 6,000 Facebook followers and frequently posts travel content. The Mirror has contacted General Directorate for National Security (DGSN) for comment.
