Family of a young man, 22, fatally stabbed on NSW Central Coast share heartbreaking message

By ASHLEY NICKEL, NEWS REPORTER, AUSTRALIA Published: 07:23, 29 July 2026 | Updated: 07:28, 29 July 2026 A young man who was fatally stabbed after he stepped off a bus and allegedly became involved in a fight with a teenager has been identified by his family.  Zane Robson, 22, was found by emergency services on Mann Street in Gosford, on the NSW Central Coast, on Tuesday about 7.30pm.  He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Gosford Hospital where he later died. Inquiries are continuing to locate a teenage boy seen in the area at the time of the incident who may be able to assist police with their inquiries.  'No family is ever prepared for a loss like this,' a relative said in a GoFundMe. 'On the evening of 28 July 2026, our family was devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of a much-loved son, grandson, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. 'At just 22 years old, his life was taken far too soon in an [alleged] senseless act of knife violence in Gosford.'
