Mr Habsburg-Lothringen told GB News: "America has this great, Principle of the First Amendment and freedom of speech is not very popular in today's Europe.
"I once wanted to make a tweet where I would write freedom of speech, and then I would make an asterix, and then a long list of things that are accepted from that. It's like the list goes over pages, what you cannot say, and it's crazy.
"It's crazy that you simply cannot say everything out, but it's true. I'm a bit worried, but I also know that there's going to be a change in this.
"There is a growing number of people who are aware, and also thanks to American YouTubers and influencers who speak about this and who call out countries that clamp down on freedom of speech in Europe. And I'm hopeful that this will that this will soon change."
