Europa League: Aston Villa vs. Bologna – probable line-ups, where to watch on TV
Bologna will look to Santiago Castro and Jonathan Rowe up front in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals against Aston Villa tonight.
It kicks off at 21:00 CET (20:00 BST) at Villa Park.
Bologna suffered a 3-1 loss at home in the reverse fixture, so they’ll need a win with a two-goal margin to send the game to extra time and a win by three goals to progress to the semis.
The Rossoblu have travelled to England without the suspended Jhon Lucumí. Lukasz Skorupski, Benjamin Dominguez and Thijs Dallinga are injured. Eivind Helland and Lorenzo De Silvestri are not part of Bologna’s UEFA list.
Several sources, including Sky Sport and Gazzetta, claim that Joao Mario is favourite over Nadir Zortea to start as a right-back. Tommaso Pobega is expected to get the nod alongside Lewis Ferguson and Remo Freuler in central midfield, leaving Nikola Moro on the bench.

English winger Rowe, scorer of a goal in the reverse fixture last week, will start as a left winger with Italy international Federico Bernardeschi on the opposite flank and Castro deployed as a sole striker.
