Smith is described as around 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, and was last seen wearing all black clothing when he escaped HMP Springhill on Wednesday January 28.‌Thames Valley Police said Smith has links to Croydon, south London and Plumstead, Surrey as well as other parts of Surrey and parts of Sussex. His runner came after going missing from hospital while in the care of prison staff one week prior.
