LINCOLN, Neb. — Twice in the final 13 months of his time at Alabama, Elijah Pritchett intended to leave. In January 2025, he went home to Georgia to see his mother.This time, there was no turning back. Pritchett knew as much when a black truck pulled up, unannounced, at their home in Columbus.
