EasyJet captain 'wrestles drunk passenger' moments before take-off from Luton Airport
المصدر: GB News | Source: GB NewsThe captain of an EasyJet flight wrestled a disruptive passenger to the ground moments before take-off.
The flight from Luton to Amsterdam on Saturday was taxiing to the runway when a drunk man reportedly began headbutting the plane’s toilet door.
Passengers said the senior pilot ran from the cockpit before another witness kicked the offender.
The Airbus A319’s takeoff from the British airport was aborted and the plane’s door opened so ground staff could help to restrain the shouting traveller.
TRENDINGStoriesVideosYour SayWitnesses described the man as “blotto drunk” despite the flight’s departure at 6am.
One man aboard flight EZY2511 told The Sun on Sunday: “Two men were arguing at security.
“One was denied boarding for being too drunk, but his friend made it on to the flight.
“The guy who boarded was screaming abuse down his phone and threatening to fight passengers, before being moved to the front of the plane by crew.
“As the plane began to taxi, he completely lost it. He jumped up, demanded to get off, and sprinted full-speed down the aisle to the back.
“He started violently head- butting the toilet door, hitting it so hard he left a dent.
“The captain emerged and, alongside the flight attendants, wrestled him to the floor in the back galley.
“During the scrap, another passenger delivered a WWE-style flying drop-kick to the unruly man.
