The initiative is set to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation, smart mobility and future-ready urban experiences, while enhancing visitor services across public spaces through faster and more seamless access to food, beverages and essential goods.

Under the agreement, the two sides will collaborate on developing and testing drone delivery routes within public facilities, including parks and beaches, while identifying suitable locations to serve as launch and collection points for aerial deliveries.

The partnership will also explore the wider integration of aerial logistics technologies into daily public spaces and assess opportunities to develop drone infrastructure as part of Dubai’s evolving urban ecosystem.

The first pilot activations are expected to begin later this year across selected parks and beaches as part of a phased citywide rollout.

Bader Anwahi, Chief Executive Officer of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, said Dubai continues to strengthen its position as one of the world’s leading cities in adopting future technologies that improve quality of life and transform public spaces into smarter and more integrated environments.

He said the collaboration with Keeta Drone would support the delivery of more efficient services and help create future-ready public destinations built around convenience, accessibility and enhanced visitor experiences.

“We are committed through this initiative to developing a dynamic urban environment and integrated facilities that provide the highest standards of leisure and quality of life in line with modern lifestyles,” he said.

Dr Yinian Mao, President of Keeta Drone, said the partnership aimed to bring services closer to people wherever they are, including parks, beaches and public facilities that shape daily life in Dubai.

“We are working together to explore how aerial delivery services can provide seamless access to services in a safe and efficient way tailored to users’ needs,” he said.

As part of the agreement, Dubai Municipality will facilitate suitable locations within public spaces for studies and pilot operations, while providing operational coordination in line with approved urban planning regulations and policies.

Meanwhile, Keeta Drone will oversee the technical assessment of proposed sites, design aerial delivery routes, conduct operational trials using drone technologies and submit performance evaluations and technical reports.

The partnership is part of Dubai’s broader efforts to develop smart city solutions through emerging technologies and strategic collaborations aimed at redefining urban experiences and improving quality of life.
