For the first time in the franchise’s history, the Dodgers will incorporate a new blue jersey into their road uniform rotation. The club announced the much-rumored new look on X on Thursday afternoon, ahead of the first road trip of the year for the reigning back-to-back World Series champions. While the Dodgers have sported blue before as a base look — including in the first edition of their City Connect uniforms — this will mark the first time they will go to the color for a road alternate look. For the first time in history, the Dodgers will be wearing a blue jersey as part of their regular uniform rotation on the road. pic.twitter.com/ce3EVFVJTd — Los Angeles Dodgers (@Dodgers) April 3, 2026 The blue tops look similar to their regular spring training look, featuring a road gray Nike logo to go with piping that will match the team’s usual gray pants and a Dodgers script patch on one of the sleeves (the rest of the Dodgers’ uniform sets have the interlocking “LA” logo, instead). Just as with their normal road looks, the jersey features the iconic red numbers on the front. These jerseys will be the third in the Dodgers’ rotation, including their two customary gray tops — one that reads “Los Angeles” on the front, while the other reads “Dodgers.” The Dodgers also previously introduced a blue uniform in 1999 for their “Think Blue Week,” wearing the look for six games.
