ALBAWABA - Jordanian singer Siilawy has sparked speculations on social media after posting an image of Jesus Christ on his Instagram story.

Siilawy, known for his famous songs, posted an image of the Last Supper of Jesus with the Twelve Apostles on his official Instagram account, where he is followed by over 3 million people.

After sharing the photo, people took to social media to question about whether the Jordanian singer converted to Christianity or not.

Social media users have been circulating news in recent hours claiming that artist Hossam El-Silawi has converted to Christianity after posting a story on Instagram, sparking widespread debate and division among his followers. 

While some considered the news shocking and unexpected, others doubted its veracity, deeming it a mere rumor or a publicity stunt.

On his official Instagram account, Siilawy added a cross, which refers to Christianity, alongside a crescent and a star, which represent Islam.

Siilawy, whose real name is Hussam Siilawy, is a Jordanian artist born on September 8th and raised in Amman. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, his talent for singing and writing turned into a career path after one of his pieces went viral on social media by chance and attracted attention to him.
