engelli ve kronik hastalara yönelik yürüttüğü "Ulusal Vefa Programı" kapsamında 2025'te ülke genelinde 128 bin vatandaşa ulaşılırken, bu yıl 132 bin kişiye destek verilmesi planlanıyor. Bakanlık tarafından Kovid-19 döneminde hayata geçirilen ve ihtiyaç sahibi vatandaşların ev temizliği, kişisel bakımı gibi zaruri ihtiyaçlarının karşılanmasını amaçlayan Vefa Projesi, 2022'de Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'ın talimatıyla "Ulusal Vefa Programı"na dönüştürüldü. Bu kapsamda 81 ilde ekipler, haftada, 15 günde ya da ayda bir olmak üzere vatandaşların ev temizliği, yemek, pazar alışverişi, günlük bakım ve diğer temel ihtiyaçlarını karşılamalarına destek oluyor. Öte yandan, öz bakımını yerine getiremeyen yaşlı, engelli ve ağır kronik hastalığı bulunan vatandaşlar, düzenli aralıklarla evlerinde ziyaret ediliyor, ihtiyaçları yerinde belirlenerek gerekli destek sağlanıyor. Ülke genelinde geçen yıl 128 bin vatandaşa destek sağlanırken, 2026 için 5,1 milyar lira kaynak ayrılan programla 132 bin kişiye hizmet sunulması planlanıyor. Etimesgut Kaymakamı Özlem Bozkurt Gevrek, AA muhabirine, programın ilçede büyük memnuniyetle sürdürüldüğünü söyledi. Projeden bakıma muhtaç tüm bireylerin yararlanabildiğini belirten Gevrek, "Ekiplerimiz eve girdiğinde, bir evde ihtiyaç duyabilecek ne varsa onları yapıyor. Onun dışında tamir, bakım, onarım varsa bizlere bildiriyorlar. Daha sonra gittiğimizde onların bakımını ve tamirini gerçekleştiriyoruz." ifadelerini kullandı. Gevrek, projeyle ilçede 2025'e kadar 1400 hanede 1800 vatandaşa ulaşıldığını ve 15 bin temizlik hizmeti verildiğini, bu yılın ilk üç ayında ise 214 hanede 320 vatandaşa hizmet sunularak yaklaşık 600 temizlik yapıldığını söyledi. Toplumsal düzenin değiştiğine ve komşuluk ilişkilerinin zayıfladığına dikkati çeken Gevrek, şunları kaydetti: "Eskiden bizim zamanımızda komşuluk ilişkileri vardı. 'Komşusu aç yatarken tok uyuyan bizden değildir.' derdik. Annem komşularımıza evde pişen yemeklerden bir kap yemek götürürdü. Haftada bir yaşlılarımızı hamama götürdük, evlerini temizlerdik. Biz bunu biraz daha kurumsallaştırdık Bakanlık olarak, ilçelerde kaymakamlıklar vasıtasıyla. Gidiyoruz, evlerini temizliyoruz, onların yalnız olmadıklarını hissettirmeye çalışıyoruz. Gevrek, programdan faydalanmak isteyen vatandaşların Sosyal Yardımlaşma ve Dayanışma Vakıfları, CİMER ve e-Devlet üzerinden başvuruda bulunabileceğini anlatarak, "Hemen kendilerine ulaşırız, onlar hiç merak etmesin. Amacımız burada toplumsal dayanışmayı, aileyi güçlendirmek, devletin şefkat elini hissettirmek ve komşuluk ilişkilerini biraz daha güçlü kılmak." diye konuştu. Eşi 6 ay önce vefat eden ve tek başına yaşayan 77 yaşındaki Günay Der, düzenli olarak evine gelen ekiplerin, kapılarını ve pencerelerini sildiğini, bulaşıklarını yıkayıp perdelerini temizlediğini söyledi. Verilen hizmetten memnuniyetini dile getiren Der, "Allah devletimize zeval, ziyan vermesin. Allah devletten razı olsun. Biz gençken böyle şeyler yoktu. Şimdi hizmet var, yaşlılara her türlü hizmeti yapıyorlar. Evlerimize kadar gelirler. Allah hepsinden razı olsun. Çok iyi temizlediler, gittiler. Fazlasını da isteyemem artık daha ne isterim ki?" ifadelerini kullandı.
