Derek Gee-West’s start to the season has been far from ideal. A virus forced him to abandon the Volta a Catalunya in late March, leaving a “question mark” over his form for the upcoming Giro d’Italia, which starts this Friday (May 8).Yet, perspective is a wonderful thing.
