Denmark defender Thomsen signs two-year London City dealImage source, London City LionessesByJoe BradshawBBC Sport Senior JournalistPublished2 minutes agoLondon City Lionesses have confirmed the signing of Denmark international Janni Thomsen from Utah Royals FC.The 26-year-old defender has penned a two-year deal in the capital and is the latest - alongside Germany striker Nicole Anyomi and goalkeeper Mary Earps - to join Eder Maestre's squad.Thomsen has made 11 appearances in the National Women's Super League so far this season for Utah Royals, helping them to second in the table at the halfway stage.She also played for Denmark in the past two European Championships and the 2023 Women's World Cup."I'm very proud to join London City," said Thomsen.
