Defending champion Gauff suffers shock third-round exit at French Open

Defending French ‌Open champion Coco Gauff has been knocked out of the Grand ‌Slam following a 4-6 7-6 (7-1) 6-4 loss to Anastasia Potapova in ⁠the third ⁠round at Roland-Garros ‌on Saturday.

Gauff struggled to handle ‌Russian-born Austrian Potapova's aggressive tennis but bagged the opening ⁠set, only to allow her opponent to come back ⁠strongly in the next ⁠two and win.
