In a statement carried by the Abu Dhabi Media Office, authorities said operations at the site had been temporarily suspended as emergency teams dealt with a fire caused by the incident. No injuries have been reported. Authorities have also responded to an incident of falling debris in the Ajban area, following successful interception by air defence systems. Further updates will be provided in due course. Authorities urged the public to rely only on official sources for information and to refrain from sharing rumours or unverified reports. Earlier, the Ministry of Defence said UAE air defence systems were actively intercepting missile and UAV threats, adding that sounds heard across parts of the country were linked to ongoing defence operations. The ministry called on residents to remain calm and follow safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities. It also warned the public not to approach, touch or photograph debris from intercepted objects and to allow specialised teams to handle the situation.
