Bell, 27, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, the former a felony and the latter a misdemeanor. The Collin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest was made by the Prosper Police Department. No other details were immediately available. The Cowboys declined to comment on the situation. Bell has spent the past four seasons with the Cowboys after signing with Dallas as an undrafted free agent out of Florida A&M in 2022. After playing in five games in 2022, he played in all 17 in 2023 and tallied a career-high 94 tackles, four passes defended and two forced fumbles.
