Country star Brett Eldredge secretly married mystery bride after years of private romance

Country star Brett Eldredge has revealed that he secretly tied the knot with his mystery bride.

On Monday, Eldredge took to Instagram to share a photo of himself holding his new bride's hand with a caption explaining his love life.

"Over the last several years, life and my perception of it have changed drastically. I met an amazing woman who truly loves me for me, way beyond the fella with a microphone," his caption began.

Sharing a little bit about his wife, Eldredge said that she is "just as goofy as I am." He also said she's "someone who loves weird barefoot dance-offs in the living room, looking up at the night sky and wondering what lies beyond what we cannot see."

Eldredge didn't share any additional details about their big day, but did explain that somewhere along their love journey, they decided to get married.

"To me, some of the best things in life are the ones you plant and grow quietly in your sacred space, away from the noise. We value that deeply, and honestly, it soothes my soul," he added.

Eldredge, 40, shared that there are exciting things ahead, and after "all this time," he's "so grateful I have such a beautiful soul to share it all with."

Eldredge rose to fame with his 2013 debut album, "Bring You Back," which produced three No. 1 country hits: "Don't Ya," "Beat of the Music," and "Mean to Me."

Since then, he has become one of country music’s most recognizable artists, earning multiple chart-topping singles and a loyal fan base.

Eldredge has kept his love life very private over the years, but in December, he told People that he was seeing someone special and decided to cut back on his social media use.

"I have an amazing person in my life and I'm very happy about it. These moments are really sacred to me and her. I'm very happy, and things are going great," he told the outlet at the time.

"It's been really cool to step back from the expectations of industry and decide what I want my story to look like moving forward," Eldredge continued. "I made some big changes in my life and have found a really good balance and still do what I love. There is a place where you can still be yourself and be yourself to your fans and not sell your soul to the content machine."
