The 69-year-old, who portrayed Liz McDonald on the ITV soap from 1989 to 2020, posted a video update to her 317,000 Instagram followers this weekend from outside St Luke's Hospital.
Dressed in a leopard print jumpsuit, the star told fans: "Sitting in the garden outside St Luke's Hospital. Just finished number six. Over half way!"
Ms Callard was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer earlier this year, news which prompted her withdrawal from the I'm A Celebrity...South Africa series.
TRENDINGStoriesVideosYour SayThe actress first disclosed her diagnosis in February during an appearance on RTE's Late Late Show, explaining she received the news just 15 to 20 minutes before she was due on set for her new role in Fair City.
"I've had some tests just before I left the UK, and literally, 15, 20 minutes before I was in my dressing room at Fair City, getting ready to go on," she said.
Ms Callard underwent surgery to remove the cancer in April, with subsequent test results indicating a low aggression level.
Her recent move to Ireland with husband Jon McEwan to film the RTE soap created scheduling difficulties for her radiotherapy appointments.
The update comes just weeks after Ms Callard spoke about returning to work on Fair City while undergoing treatment, admitting she felt anxious about the experience.
"First day back at work. I've just arrived. Jon brought me in for the first day. I have to tell you - it's like first day back at school.
"I'm really nervous and on edge but nicely so," she shared in a video.
However, the actress reported the day exceeded her expectations, saying: "Home from first day back at work. Do you know what? It was fantastic!"

Ms Callard's radiotherapy schedule consists of 10 sessions in total, spread across five consecutive days followed by a weekend break, then another five days.
Following her hospital visit, the actress shared a lighthearted clip at home with her two Giant Black Russian Terriers, one sitting beside her on the sofa and the other on the floor.
"I just wanted a bit of peace," she said, before her husband Jon remarked from behind the camera: "They are ridiculous. For starters, they shouldn't be on the sofa."
Ms Callard responded with a smile: "I know, but they missed me."

"That's a brilliant post Bev. Look at you! You've come on leaps and bounds already," one fan wrote on Saturday, as another penned: "You are such a wonderful person to share your personal story."

A fourth fan called the star "an inspiration!"
