“It’s a great pleasure to be here at GITEX to renew our participation,” Redouane Mabchour, Managing Director for Concentrix in Africa, said in an interview with Morocco World News, pointing to the significance of the moment within the broader momentum of the event’s second day, marked by “key highlights and major events.”
The partnership, initially signed a year ago, was designed as a structured support system for emerging startups.
“We signed a strong partnership last year and agreed to meet again one year later to review our progress,” he explained to MWN.
That progress has translated into the selection of around fifteen startups, with five now shortlisted and actively incubated within Technopark.
“The outcome is that there are around fifteen startups that we selected… ultimately shortlisting five startups that are now being incubated with Technopark,” Mabchour noted, emphasizing that the incubation process is already underway.
These startups span a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, banking, finance, and insurance, reflecting both market diversity and cross-industry innovation.
Beyond the numbers, the initiative carries a unique internal dynamic.
“These are first and foremost collaborators, game changers who initially work with Concentrix,” he said, highlighting how the program empowers talent from within the company to transition into entrepreneurship.
“It is an honor and a source of pride to have supported them over the past 12 months.”
“We connect them with our prospects, our clients. We co-build on tenders,” he added, describing a hands-on approach that integrates startups into real business opportunities and ecosystems.
Looking ahead, both Concentrix and Technopark are aiming to scale the initiative further.
“We have agreed to meet again with Technopark in one year to increase the number of entrepreneurs we can support and to go even further,” Mabchour said, signaling an ambition to expand both reach and depth of support.
“In short, it’s exciting,” he highlighted. “We have a responsibility to support them and to create a social and entrepreneurial impact on the economy.”
