Colts sign safety Nasir Adderley, who is ending his 3-year retirement from the NFL

For the second time in four months, the Indianapolis Colts have signed a player out of retirement. And no, this time, it’s not Philip Rivers.The Colts announced Tuesday that they signed safety Nasir Adderley, ending his three-year retirement. Adderley was drafted in the second round by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2019. The former Delaware star was limited to four games as a rookie because of a hamstring injury. Adderley rebounded by starting 44 games across the next three seasons, highlighted by his first interception off a pass from Hall of Famer Drew Brees on “Monday Night Football” in 2020, but various injuries continued to plague him.
