Cepeda, an ally of President Gustavo Petro, would receive 44.3% support, compared with 21.5% for conservative lawyer Abelardo de la Espriella and 19.8% for Senator Paloma Valencia, according to an Invamer poll published by Noticias Caracol on Sunday. Other candidates would each receive less than 4% in the first round. Valencia posted the largest gain compared with a February poll, though she still trails Cepeda.
