Coinbase reports service issues, points finger at AWS cloud outage
A cooling issue at an Amazon Web Services data center in Northern Virginia caused widespread service disruptions. Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and derivatives giant CME Group were among the affected. AWS confirmed increased temperatures in a single data center impacted services.
