taykonotlar Cang Lu, Vu Fey ve Cang Hongcang, ekibi istasyon dışındaki üçüncü faaliyetini tamamladı. Cang Lu ve Vu Fey, araç dışı işlemleri yürütürken istasyonda kalan Cang Hongcang, ekibe içeriden destek sağladı. Taykonotlar, yaklaşık 5,5 saat süren uzay yürüyüşünde, istasyonun robotik kolu ve yer kontrolörlerinin yardımıyla, uzay enkazı koruma cihazının kurulumunu tamamladı, diğer dış donanımlar ile araçların bakım işlemlerini yaptı. Şıncou-21 taykonot ekibi, 31 Ekim 2025'te istasyona gönderilmişti. Ekibin istasyondaki 6 ay olarak planlanan görev süresinin 1 ay daha uzatılması öngörülüyor. Çin, ABD'nin uzay araştırmaları alanındaki işbirliğini yasaklaması ve Uluslararası Uzay İstasyonu (ISS) programına katılımını engellemesi nedeniyle Dünya yörüngesinde kendi uzay istasyonunu kurmuştu. Bir çekirdek modül, iki laboratuvar modülünden oluşan ve bir uzay teleskobunun eklenmesi planlanan "Tiengong" (Gök Sarayı) İstasyonu, Rusya'nın artık faal olmayan Mir Uzay İstasyonu model alınarak inşa edildi. İstasyonun ana parçası "Tienhı" (Göksel Uyum) adı verilen çekirdek modül 29 Nisan 2021'de, ilk laboratuvar modülü "Vıntien" (Gökleri Aramak) 24 Temmuz 2022'de, ikinci laboratuvar modülü "Mıngtien" (Gökleri Düşlemek) ise 31 Ekim 2022'de fırlatıldı. Çekirdek modüle laboratuvar modüllerinin eklenmesiyle "T" biçimli ana iskeletinin kurulumu tamamlanan istasyon, "uygulama ve geliştirme aşamasına" geçti. "Şüntien" (Gökleri Dolaşmak) adı verilen uzay teleskobunun da ayrı modül olarak istasyona eklenmesi planlanıyor. Üç kişilik taykonot ekibinin dönüşümlü görev yaptığı istasyona "Şıncou" (Kutsal Gemi) mekikleriyle personel, "Tiencou" (Gök Gemisi) mekikleriyle de ikmal malzemeleri taşınıyor.
